HOLISTIC GUT HEALTH

Your dog keeps showing signs of a sensitive digestion – but the cause remains unclear?

Stress, changes in diet, infections, or deworming treatments can upset the delicate balance of the intestinal flora. Wild probiotic mixtures usually only fight symptoms – without addressing the underlying cause.

This is precisely where PAWSAN® Gut Health comes in:

Developed in collaboration with our team of experts and based on the latest findings, it supports the natural regenerative capacity and promotes a balanced microbiome – entirely without isolated substances.

NATURALLY BALANCING GUT FORMULA

The bio-certified recipe from controlled organic cultivation combines adaptogenic vital mushrooms, herbal antioxidants and prebiotics - tailored to the needs of a sensitive intestinal function. In this way, the delicate balance of the intestinal flora can be sustainably supported - regardless of changes in feed, stress or diet-related imbalances.

  • Holistic approach instead of mere symptom treatment
  • Probiotic effect through fermentation
  • Adaptogens for a balanced intestinal flora
  • High concentration of active polysaccharides
  • Supports the body's own regenerative powers
  • Certified organic quality without additives

AREAS OF APPLICATION

Our organic blend of natural plant-based ingredients was specifically developed to support a balanced gut flora and help maintain the structure of the intestinal lining. "Darmwohl" is suitable both for a restorative course of treatment and for long-term supplementation in cases of sensitive digestion.

  • for loose stools, flatulence & increased skin sensitivity
  • during diet changes, stress & travel
  • during or after the administration of medication & deworming treatments
  • to strengthen healthy gut function
  • suitable for sensitive dogs with intolerances

AS AN INTENSIVE RESTORATIVE TREATMENT FOR SENSITIVE DIGESTION

For dogs with sensitive digestive systems or recurring irregularities in bowel movements, we recommend long-term administration of the specified daily dose for at least 6 weeks (as many plant-based ingredients only take full effect after this period). To prevent the body from becoming accustomed to the product, we recommend a break of 2–4 weeks after 3 months.

AS A POWER BOOST FOR NORMAL DIGESTION

To provide nutritional support for normal digestion, "Darmwohl" is suitable as an intensive restorative regimen lasting at least 6–9 weeks, followed by a break of at least 2–3 weeks. This regimen can be repeated 3–4 times a year as needed.

SUITABLE FOR ALL DOGS

Darmwohl is not a short-term acute solution or a traditional anti-diarrhea remedy, but a targeted power treatment for the long-term stabilization of the microbiome.

Because Darmwohl consciously takes a deeper approach instead of merely masking symptoms short-term, and supports the gut in regaining better balance long-term, it requires some patience, time, and consistency – but can make all the difference.

For once the intestinal environment has truly stabilized again, in many cases significantly fewer or no acute solutions will be needed.

Recommended initial titration phase (5–7 days)

Darmwohl contains the high-quality organic medicinal mushroom Hericium, known for its mucous membrane-protecting and regenerative properties. A gentle introduction is particularly important for dogs with sensitive digestive systems.

Gradual introduction

Start with half the recommended daily amount for the first 5 days. From day 6 onwards, the regular dosage based on body weight can be administered (see feeding recommendations).

Note on compatibility

Darmwohl is designed for long-term use and is also suitable for sensitive dogs. Mild, temporary changes (such as softer stools or increased activity) at the start are not signs of intolerance, but rather reflect the body's natural adaptation to the active ingredients. Typically, this normalizes within a few days. For very sensitive dogs, the daily amount can be split into two servings (e.g., morning and evening).

CLASSIFICATION

Darmwohl was conceived as a holistic multi-substance formulation whose active ingredient quantities and composition are 1:1 aligned with scientifically described nutritional-physiological approaches. The formulation was developed not only in terms of individual ingredients, but also with regard to meaningful synergistic effects and functional combination principles, as described in the specialist literature for supporting the microbiome, intestinal mucosa, and intestinal balance.

COMPOSITION

Each tablet contains:

306 mg organic acacia fiber*

It is a high-quality source of prebiotics and is linked to the growth of beneficial gut bacteria such as lactobacilli and bifidobacteria. It contributes to the development of healthy gut flora, promotes a stable intestinal lining, and supports the production of short-chain fatty acids, which are associated with balanced digestion and the renewal of the intestinal barrier. Additionally, it can help maintain normal stool consistency—particularly in cases of sensitive digestion.

300 mg BIO Hericium-Pilzpulver* (Polysaccharide & Beta Glucane)

It is valued for its balancing properties within the digestive system. Its bioactive compounds—including erinacines, hericerins, and polysaccharides—are discussed in the scientific literature in the context of the gut-brain axis, gut balance, and diet-related stress. In mycotherapy, *Hericium* is traditionally used to support microbiome diversity and the natural barrier function of the intestinal mucosa.

182 mg organic Jerusalem artichoke powder (fermented)* inulin

It ranks among the best natural sources of inulin and provides valuable prebiotic fiber. It can promote the growth of beneficial gut bacteria, contribute to the production of short-chain fatty acids such as butyrate, and support the natural renewal of the intestinal lining. Fermentation also generates bioactive metabolites that are discussed in scientific literature as having probiotic effects—all without the addition of probiotic blends.

106 mg organic pumpkin powder*

It provides valuable dietary fiber, beta-carotene, and phytonutrients—compounds associated in professional literature with balanced digestion. The fiber content can help bind excess fluid in the gut and promote consistent stool quality. Pumpkin is traditionally used for dogs with sensitive digestion or irregular bowel movements.

68 mg organic blueberry powder*

...is rich in polyphenols and anthocyanins—powerful antioxidants associated with natural inflammatory processes and cellular protective mechanisms. The bioactive plant compounds it contains can support the growth of beneficial gut bacteria and contribute to a balanced gut microbiome. Furthermore, blueberry powder can help promote consistent stool quality.

29 mg organic bamboo extract*

It provides a particularly high level of silicon, an essential trace element linked to the structural integrity of connective tissue and mucous membranes. Bamboo contributes to the renewal and maintenance of the intestinal mucosal structure—especially in cases of sensitive digestion or mechanical stress. Acting as a natural structural component, it supports the structural stability of the digestive tract.

9 mg BI0 rosehip powder*

...provides concentrated vitamin C, polyphenols, and galactolipids—plant compounds associated in scientific literature with cell-protective properties and the natural renewal of the intestinal mucosa. The high content of bioactive compounds can support stable intestinal function and promote microbial balance in the digestive tract. Particularly suitable for recurring digestive irregularities.

3 mg sodium chloride

It is an essential building block for the production of stomach acid, which is linked to proper digestion and nutrient utilization. It contributes to the regulation of water balance and supports the body's electrolyte balance.
